As you might’ve guessed from the title, it’s Christmas Jumper Day! Embrace the tat and go for bells, tinsel and flashing lights. It’s the season to be jolly after all.
Slipping on a festive jumper is no longer for extraverts who wants to make a bold statement, even the faint hearted are getting on board – and so are we!
We’re raising money for our partnered charity, Heads Together.
They’re an organisation formed by a group from the Scottish Borders affected by brain injury, with assistance from carers, families and friends. We’ve been supporting the charity since early September, taking part in lots of different fundraising activities.
The money help the charity support people from the region adjust to living in the aftermath of serious brain trauma. By wearing a Christmas jumper to work we’re helping spread awareness of the cause, and encourage others to do the same.
There’ll be prizes for the most dazzling displays, and as you can probably see from our snaps, there’s a few contenders.
So, if you haven’t already, there’s still time to dig into your wardrobe and bring out that rather colourful jumper you’re embarrassed to wear in public.
Remember – there are no rules for Christmas Jumper Day!
