New Year, New You Smoothie

Did you make a New Year’s resolution for 2016? Some people aim to get in shape, eat healthier, give up bad habits or generally try and be a better person. Today is apparently the day that most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions in favour of their old habits.

We want to help you to stay strong, so no matter what your goal is this year, we think you’ll enjoy this delicious smoothie recipe that will make you feel good about yourself in 2016.


2 small raw beetroots, peeled and roughly chopped

1 small apple peeled, quartered and cored

50g raspberries/strawberries

1 tbsp grated ginger

300ml coconut water


  1. Put the beetroot, apple, blueberries and ginger in a blender, top up with water then blitz until smooth.
  2. Relax and enjoy your guilt-free smoothie!


Spark serving tip: Make it a creamy treat by replacing the water with Greek yoghurt.
